PERC Pinnacle Practices (P3) study group members and their Champions joined us at the 2025 Fall Elevate Conference held in Denver, Colorado! This conference brought together a dynamic group of owners, doctors, and key staff for engaging discussions, insightful presentations, and fun social events.
A key component of the event is the full-day, peer-to-peer study group sessions, where members work together to address their most significant business challenges. P3 members spent intensive time within their respective groups, breaking down performance data, sharing best practices, and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, profitability, and leadership within their organizations.
“In my 28 years in the industry, there is nothing I have seen that has impacted growth more than the peer-to-peer learning and accountability that these groups provide,” said Dr. Jason Lake, general manager of PERC and Opti-Port. “Our members are pushing each other to make some of the nation’s largest practices further accelerate their growth and profitability.”
Multiple education tracks were offered, each one structured around real-world business cases, featuring products and services that practices can immediately implement. This year’s sessions emphasized practical solutions for scaling operations, enhancing patient experience, and driving financial success in today’s evolving marketplace.
“Attending the Elevate Conference has been a game-changer for our practice,” said Dr. Andrew Ochiltree, Mohave Eye Center. “The sessions pushed us to think beyond day-to-day operations and truly look at the bigger picture of how we want our business to grow. We left with actionable strategies, fresh ideas, and a renewed sense of direction.”
A keynote presentation from ITR Economics provided a data-driven look at economic trends shaping the future of independent optometry. Attendees left with actionable insight on how to navigate market changes, optimize business decisions, and position their practices for sustainable growth.
The exhibit hall showcased innovations from industry-leading companies that were encouraged to bring forward new technologies, programs, and services designed to help practices operate more efficiently and competitively.
“Elevate has played a significant role in helping our optometric business thrive, and we’re grateful to be part of such an inspiring and forward-thinking community,” Dr. Ochiltree added.
“We continue to offer leading optometric practices a place to collaborate and grow,” said Dr. Lake. “At Elevate, industry leaders continue to work side by side with our members to maximize growth. The industry is rapidly changing and if we want it to evolve, we need to work together to bring our patients and the industry as a whole the very best we have to offer.”
